ANINA FAUL, RAEESAH FAZLUDDIN, CHRISTINE KOPSCH and RISHALINNAIDOO ACHIEVE OUTSTANDING MATHS and SCIENCE RESULTS IN 2012.
Another very successful year for Maths Success students. Here is somebackground as to how Anina, Raeesah, Christine and Rishalin managed to
ANINA FAUL from Kingsmead College started her lessons with me in 2009
when she was in Grade 9. She was keen to get above average results in
maths and science and wanted to be ready to take Advanced Programme
Mathematics in Grade 10. Anina worked hard over the years achieving
distinctions in Maths, AP Maths and Science all the way to matric. In
November exams she achieved 92% for Maths, 92% for Maths Paper 3, 94%
for AP Maths and 84% for Science.
Anina was the youngest of 3 sisters that came to Maths Success. Her sister
Chiara started her lessons in 2006, when she was in Grade 11. Chiara was
finding Science very difficult and needed help. She was determined to
succeed and in 2007 matric exams achieved a distinction not only in Science,
but also in Maths and AP Maths.
Anina’s sister Kalinka started her lessons in Grade 10 in 2007. She was
concerned about her AP Maths marks and needed help. With my help and
her splendid efforts she achieved distinctions not only in AP Maths, but in
Maths and Science as well.
A truly remarkable three young women who wanted to succeed and achieved
RAEESAH FAZLUDDIN, also from Kingsmead College, started her
lessons at Maths Success in 2009, when she was in Grade 9. Her hard work
and perseverance paid off and she achieved distinctions in Maths and
Science in her November exams.
CHRISTINE KOPSCH started her lessons at Maths Success in February
last year. I will let her mother, Jenny, tell the story as she wrote it on
“Kazik provided an invaluable service to my daughter Christine, when she
decided that she wanted to go to medical school but had not studied
Physics, Chemistry or Maths to the required level. Kazik tutored her over the
period of 8 months and she was able to write and pass her first year Physics
and Chemistry exams and went on to be accepted into the Graduate Entry
Medical Programme at Wits. Thank you Kazik for your support and
excellent tutoring skills.”
RISHALIN NAIDOO from Redhill High School started his lessons in
February last year. Like Christine, he also wanted go to Medical School and
needed a distinction in maths. His efforts were well rewarded and he
achieved a distinction in Maths and Maths Paper 3. I also helped him to
prepare for a National Benchmarking Test where he obtained a magnificent
94%. For those reasons he was accepted into the first year of study at Wits
Medical School this year.
Well done to Anina, Raeesah, Christine and Rishalin for believing in
themselves and achieving such outstanding results.
